Doctor name: Kim Hyeon-jo Clinic name: Objet plastic surgery Procedures: lower bleph + fat grafting (+ raised mole removal) Price paid: between 2 and 3 million KRW (a little higher due to the mole removal) Date of first consult: January 2026 Date of procedure: May 2026 I got lower blepharoplasty + fat grafting at Objet Plastic Surgery Clinic in Seoul on May 9th, 2026, here's how it went. I live in Seoul and speak fluent Korean so I didn't need a translator, but the clinic does have English-speaking staff. Surgery was at 10am. I washed my face, took before pictures, signed forms, and the surgeon (Dr. Kim Hyeon-jo) explained the surgery one last time. I was asleep for part of it and awake for the rest, feeling only slight tugging. Afterward I rested privately with my boyfriend, iced for 15 minutes, then went home once the anesthesia wore off enough. The day of surgery was the hardest for pain — it faded after about 5 hours. The next few days were mostly itchy eyes and mild stitch discomfort, with expected swelling and bruising. After peeling off tape on day 4 there was more swelling, which improved with regular icing. Day 5 post-surgery checkup was fine, plus a laser to help recovery. Overall I'm satisfied with my experience at Objet — plenty of information given and the coordinator answered questions quickly via KakaoTalk. I may need a second round of fat grafting (I was told this was a possibility at the first consult) since they keep the extracted fat for up to three months. My case wasn't as severe as others I've seen, only a slight undereye pouch with some hollowness, but the difference has made a big impact — I look less tired and go out without makeup a lot more since the surgery.
